Poggio Civetta Chianti Classico DOCG

This Chianti is made from Sangiovese (90%), Canaiolo (5%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand between mid-September and mid-October. They are gently crushed, followed by vinification. The must rests on the skins for one to two weeks, preserving all the aromas and colors in the wine. The wine then matures for nine months in small and large barrels. Poggio Civetta Chianti Classico displays a deep ruby ​​red color in the glass. The nose is delicate, with aromas of wild berries, violets, and a spicy finish. On the palate, it is a dry and fresh wine with a full body. A delicious pairing with rich dishes, especially traditional Tuscan cuisine, grilled steak, and aged cheeses.
