Nounat Binigrau
A Mallorcan white wine that shows what the island can do beyond tourism and rosé: concentrated fruit, lively acidity and Mediterranean warmth in one glass.
Binigrau winery is located in the heart of the Binissalem appellation in central Mallorca. The winery focuses on a blend of international and local grape varieties — including the island's native Prensal Blanc , which gives the wine its distinctive character.
The 2025 Nounat was produced from a vintage with an early harvest, healthy grapes, and moderate yields—conditions that promote aromatic intensity without sacrificing freshness. This blend of Chardonnay and Prensal Blanc displays ripe yellow pear, white peach, and a hint of citrus zest. Present on the palate, yet not heavy—the acidity keeps the wine vibrant, and the finish is fresh and subtly mineral.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled squid with aioli, goat cheese salad, or paella de verduras. Also a good choice as an uncomplicated summer evening wine on its own.
Binigrau comes from the heart of Mallorca – an island that has far more to offer than sun and sand. Nestled amidst the rugged Tramuntana mountains and on ancient terraces, something special grows here: wine with true character.
The winery focuses on the indigenous Manto Negro grape variety , showcasing the true potential of Mallorcan soil – powerful, spicy, with an unmistakable Mediterranean depth. No mainstream wines here, but rather wines that proudly reflect their origins.
