New Chapter Grüner Veltliner

The New Chapter Grüner Veltliner from Lenzmark is an uncomplicated white wine from Austria: fresh, clear, and designed for drinkability.

The grapes come from the Weinland, the vast wine-growing region in northeastern Austria. Grüner Veltliner is the leading variety here and brings the typical spice of the region. Lenzmark ages the wine in steel tanks. This preserves the fruit and freshness of the grape variety without wood masking the character. As an organic wine, it follows the requirement to cultivate the vineyard without artificial fertilizers and synthetic pesticides.

In the glass, as is usual with Grüner Veltliner, you can expect citrus and green apple, plus a peppery spice that gives the variety its profile. On the palate, the wine appears lean and lively, carried by a taut acidity. The finish is dry and spicy.

Serve it well chilled at 8 to 10 °C. It goes with Wiener Schnitzel, asparagus, vegetable dishes, light fish dishes, or for an evening on the terrace.
