Nearco Rosso Toscana IGT - Organic

Four grape varieties, one clear signature: The Nearco Rosso Toscana IGT from Col d'Orcia is a Tuscan red wine that combines depth and approachability — dry, with fine-grained tannins and a long finish.

Col d'Orcia is one of the great names of Montalcino. Since 1890, the family has cultivated vines on the hills above the Orcia River. Today, Count Francesco Marone Cinzano manages 140 hectares – biodynamically and Demeter-certified. This makes Col d'Orcia the largest organic winery in Tuscany, a fact reflected in their entire range: meticulous work in the vineyard, clear style in the cellar.

In the glass, the Nearco displays dark berry fruit—blackberry, black cherry—with spicy notes in the background. The tannins are fine-grained and well-integrated, the structure balanced without any harshness. The oak adds depth to the wine without overpowering the fruit. The finish is lingering.

Ready to drink now, but will keep for several years. Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with pasta al ragù, grilled lamb rump, or mature Pecorino Toscano.
