Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Sorbè 1er Cru AC Premier Cru

A Pinot Noir from Morey-Saint-Denis, the small village between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny. The Clos Sorbè is a Premier Cru site of the appellation, and François Feuillet brings it into the glass as a dry red wine.

Morey-Saint-Denis is located on the Côte de Nuits in the heart of Burgundy. The village's wines are stylistically often situated between the power of Gevrey and the elegance of Chambolle. We have no information on the aging process in the cellar, so we stick to what the origin and grape variety dictate.

Typical for red Burgundy made from Pinot Noir are aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and redcurrant, often accompanied by notes of forest floor and fine spice. On the palate, fine tannins and a taut, fresh acidity are to be expected, which give the wine drive and structure.

Recommendation: Serve it at 15 to 17 °C, preferably after decanting briefly. It goes with duck breast, roasted veal fillet, mushroom dishes, or ripe Époisses.
