Behind the Montecillo Viña Monty is Grupo Osborne, one of Spain's most traditional wine houses. The Montecillo brand has its origins in the Rioja Alta, one of the most renowned sub-regions of the Rioja, known for its limestone and clay soils as well as the continental climate with cool nights — ideal conditions for Garnacha with structure and depth.

On the nose, the Viña Monty Reserva shows ripe plum and dark cherry, underscored by a hint of toasted oak. On the palate, medium body, juicy tannins without sharpness, long harmonious finish with a slight spicy note in the aftertaste.

Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs with lamb chops with rosemary, grilled chorizo, or a strong Manchego. Also a good companion to braised dishes with tomatoes and peppers.
