In detail

How does the Mirabeau »Pure« Rosé taste?

Dry, fresh, and clear in its fruit: that is how this rosé from Provence presents itself. It focuses on straightforwardness rather than opulence.

Aging in steel tanks defines the drinking experience. Without oak, the wine remains lean and true to the variety; nothing masks the Grenache grape. At 13% vol, it has enough substance to stand up to food without feeling heavy. Many rosé wines rely on a noticeable fruit sweetness. This one is designed as a dry wine and is therefore suitable for those who prefer a taut style. The natural cork fits the classic appearance of the AOC.

What does the Mirabeau Pure pair with?

As an aperitif, it is the simplest choice. The dry nature and fresh acidity whet the appetite for what follows, and it needs no accompaniment. It shows best at 8–10 °C.

It pairs well with oysters, mussels, and other seafood because its acidity picks up the salty, iodine note without masking any of it. The same applies to salads and antipasti: the freshness cuts through olive oil and marinades. It keeps up with the variety of tapas because no oak and no tannin compete with the spices.

For risotto and quiche, it brings enough body to stand alongside creamy textures. The acidity provides balance. There are many occasions: Easter dinner, an evening on the terrace, a picnic, or a lunch in spring and summer.

The Domaine

Maison Mirabeau

It all started with a romantic marriage proposal on Mallorca – with a bottle of rosé. In 2010, Jeany and Stephen Cronk took the leap: they left London and realized their dream of owning their own winery in Provence.

Today, at their Domaine Mirabeau near Saint-Tropez, they create some of the most award-winning rosés in the region. Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle are used to create wines full of elegance – "Provence in a glass".

From Classic to Pure to Rosé Gin: Mirabeau stands for French savoir-vivre and pure joie de vivre. In over 50 countries, people enjoy a piece of the Provence dream.
