Merry Edwards is one of the most influential names in Sonoma Pinot Noir. The winemaker has been working with various clones since the 1970s—including her own hand-selected Merry Edwards clones—and has thus secured a firm place among California's top wineries. The Sonoma Coast vineyards offer long, cool ripening periods, which benefit the acidity and aromatics of this wine.

In the glass, it displays notes of sandalwood, black tea, and dried cherry, underpinned by floral hints and a slightly earthy base. The body is medium-bodied, the tannins fine and well-integrated, and the finish long with a spicy note.

Pairs well with duck breast with Pinot Noir reduction, rack of lamb with herb crust, or a mature Époisses. Serving temperature: 16–17 °C. Drink by 2028.
