The Marqués de Riscal Reserva is one of the most famous classics of Rioja — a wine that embodies the style of this region as reliably as almost any other: structured, aromatically dense, with the unmistakable character of aged Tempranillo.

Herederos del Marqués de Riscal is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja and has significantly shaped the region since the mid-19th century. The Reserva line stands for artisanal continuity: a cuvée of Tempranillo and Graciano that shows the typical strengths of the house — depth without heaviness, spice without excess.

Cherry red in the glass with orange reflections. On the nose, cinnamon, black pepper, and licorice, underneath dark berry fruits and a fine hint of forest floor. On the palate, velvety tannins, a lively freshness, and a long, balsamic finish — well-dosed wood aromas that blend into the overall picture without dominating.

Pairs well with Serrano ham, braised lamb, mushroom dishes, or medium-aged cheeses like Manchego. Drinking temperature: 16–18 °C.
