Mâcon-Prissé AC Mâcon

A Chardonnay from the southern Burgundy that focuses on clarity and freshness. The Mâcon-Prissé from Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon comes from the Mâcon appellation and stands for the precise, calm side of Burgundian Chardonnay. The house continues the tradition of the Mâconnais, where the grape variety develops a particularly clear fruit on limestone soils.

In the glass, bright white-gold and brilliant. On the nose, delicate white flowers, almonds, Golden Delicious apple, and citrus fruits, along with floral hints. On the palate, dry, clear, and precise, with a fresh acidity that gives the wine drive. The finish is long and remains fruity-citrusy on the palate.

Serve it at 11 to 13 °C in a large wine glass so that the bouquet can unfold. It pairs well with fried sea bream with grilled vegetables and caramelized apples, grilled crustaceans, and creamy soft cheese. Just as good as a companion for a relaxed evening at the table.
