Mâcon Chardonnay Clos de la Crochette AC Mâcon 1.5L

A dry Mâcon Chardonnay with a creamy texture and clear acidity, bottled as a 1.5-liter magnum. This fits well at a large table where several glasses are filled.

The wine comes from Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon, the Mâconnais winery of the Burgundian Lafon family, and grows in the Clos de la Crochette site. Aging in large oak barrels gives the 2023 vintage depth without the wood dominating the wine.

In the glass, it shines golden yellow and brilliant. On the nose, ripe pear and citrus fruit meet a hint of honey and fine spice. On the palate, it feels creamy, carried by a well-integrated acidity. The finish is slightly nutty and carries the aromas for a long time.

Serve it at about 9 °C in large glasses so that it can open up. It goes well with creamy risotto, pasta with cream sauce or mild cheese.
