Liberties Keeper´s Coin Single Malt 46% vol Irish Whiskey - 16y Pedro Ximénez Cask Finished 0.7L

The Keeper's Coin from the Dublin Liberties Distillery is a 16-year-aged single malt Irish whiskey that finishes with a maturation in Pedro-Ximénez casks — one of the richest sherry cask types of all. The result is a whiskey with clear Irish lightness that gains a dark, fruit-driven depth through the PX maturation without losing its character.

The Dublin Liberties Distillery is located in the district of the same name southwest of the center — one of the oldest distillation districts in Dublin, which was known for its whiskey production in the 18th century. The distillery continues this tradition and focuses on long maturation with carefully chosen cask types.

On the nose, the Keeper's Coin shows fig, date, and dark raisin, with cocoa and oak spice underneath. On the palate, it feels dense and round; the sweetness remains integrated and is balanced by a light spice. The finish is long, warm, and characterized by dried fruits. 46% ABV, non-chill filtered.

Best enjoyed neat at room temperature or with a small ice cube, which slowly opens up the fruit aromas. Also pairs well with dark chocolate or a piece of Roquefort.
