The grapes for Les Sentinnelles Pouilly-Fuissé grow on the gentle slopes of this region, not far from the city of Mâcon. The soils contain a variety of substrates, but are generally predominantly calcareous. Sunlight exposure varies considerably depending on local conditions. Due to its minerality, this Pouilly-Fuissé only develops its full aromas after approximately three years. Citrus and exotic fruits are particularly noticeable. Delicate vanilla and herbal notes round out the mineral character.
