This 20-year-old Single Malt is Lambay's prestige product. It matures initially in bourbon casks before being refined for an exceptionally long finish (2 years) in noble cognac casks. The island's maritime climate ensures maturation characterized by even penetration and saline freshness. In competition, it stands out due to its origin and the rare influence of the cognac casks, which give it subtle notes of dried fruit and spice. Only a few Irish whiskeys of this age class combine such a long cask rest with insular conditions.
