JOHNETT Single Cask No 67 47.9% vol Swiss Single Malt Whisky 0.7L

A Swiss Single Malt as a single cask bottling: The JOHNETT Single Cask No. 67 comes from the Distillerie Zug of Etter Söhne AG and is bottled at 47.9% ABV.

The Zug region shapes this whisky through short transport routes and regional raw materials. The barley malt mash is supplied by the Brauerei Baar, distillation takes place at Etter in Zug, and the spring water comes from the nearby Höllgrotten caves. Cask No. 67 was an ex-Pinot Noir cask in which the whisky matured for over twelve years. It was bottled in August 2024.

On the nose, ripe fruits meet fine spices and vanilla. On the palate, dark berries are added, accompanied by oak spice, roasted notes, and a subtle sweetness. The finish is long and soft. The influence of the red wine cask is particularly evident in the berry fruit.

Drink it neat, at room temperature, from a tulip glass. A few drops of water open up the spice notes. Dark chocolate or an aged hard cheese make suitable companions.
