The JOHNETT Single Cask No. 103 is a Swiss single malt whisky from the Zug region, bottled as a single cask at 46.8% ABV. Cask No. 103 matured for twelve years in a former sherry cask and was bottled unblended. In total, there are only 225 bottles.

The Etter Söhne AG Distillerie Zug relies on short distances: The barley malt for the mash is supplied by the Baar brewery, distillation takes place directly at Etter in Zug, and the spring water comes from the Höllgrotten in Baar. For the single cask series, the house selects only a few casks each year.

On the nose, fruity and spicy with dark fruits and fine herbs. On the palate, creamy and full-bodied: dark fruit sweetness, coffee, wood, spices and dark chocolate. The finish is long and soft.

Recommendation: neat in a tulip glass, at room temperature. A few drops of water open up the herbal notes. Dark chocolate with a high cocoa content goes well with it.
