Heaven's Door from the USA stands for Bourbon with a clear signature. In the Selection series, specifically selected casks are bottled; number 9 was bottled in collaboration with Schlumberger for the German market. The high bottling strength brings the aromas undiluted into the glass.

In the profile, you can expect classic Bourbon accents: vanilla and caramel, plus toasted oak and spice notes. The cask strength provides pressure on the palate and a noticeably warm finish.

Recommendation: neat in a tasting glass. A few drops of water open up additional nuances and take away some sharpness. Due to its intensity, it also fits as a striking component in a Bourbon back bar, for example for an Old Fashioned with character.
