Gutswein Rosé QW Franken

Fresh, juicy, and uncomplicated: the Gutswein Rosé from Rudolf May is a dry Spätburgunder Rosé from Franconia, which is intended as an entry into the VDP winery's range and hits the house style on the dot.

The grapes grow exclusively in the estate's own Franconian vineyards and meet the guidelines of the VDP. The wine is produced using the Saignée method: after a short maceration period, only the free-run juice drains off, without any pressing pressure. As a result, hardly any tannins get into the must, and the rosé remains delicate and finely structured. As an organic wine, it also carries the corresponding feature in the range.

In the glass, the typical Spätburgunder fruit shows: red berries like strawberry and raspberry, carried by lively freshness. On the palate, it appears juicy and dry, with clear acidity and an animating, smooth finish. Serve it at 8 to 10 °C as an aperitif, with salads with grilled chicken, with tarte flambée, or with light summer dishes from the grill. It also brings a lot of joy solo on the terrace.
