Pinot Blanc elegance meets Chardonnay depth: The Givry Blanc Premier Cru "Aux Moines" from the Clos du Cellier is a dry white wine from Burgundy that brings structure and freshness together.

Domaine Thénard cultivates this site in the Givry appellation in the Côte Chalonnaise, one of the traditional Premier Cru sites of the village. The wine consists of Chardonnay and was partially aged in wooden barrels, gently enough to preserve the freshness.

In the glass, ripe yellow fruits, pear, and citrus appear, along with fine floral notes and a hint of hazelnut. On the palate, it feels creamy, the acidity is well-integrated, and a mineral tension carries the wine into a long finish.

We recommend it at 10-12 °C. It goes with fried sweetbreads, chicken in cream sauce, scallops with beurre blanc, or a mature Comté.
