The finch FineSelection Classic is a whisky from the Swabian Highlands with a clear focus on fruit and vanilla. It is considered a fruit-forward entry into the world of the finch whisky distillery and is aimed at everyone who wants to get to know a German whisky for the first time.

Wheat and barley malt come from their own cultivation, and distillation takes place in a large pot still. The whisky then matures for five years in selected wine casks. This is exactly what defines the style: fine wine nuances and ripe fruit are in the foreground, a clear vanilla tone provides warmth and roundness. The character remains clearly structured and accessible without becoming arbitrary.

At 40% ABV, it is calm and easy to drink on the palate. The wine cask note gives the fruit depth, and the vanilla accompanies it into the finish. Recommendation: neat in a nosing glass so that the fruit and vanilla can unfold on the nose. Those who want to emphasize the fruit more can serve it slightly chilled. The 0.2 l bottle is well-suited for sampling or as a small gift for a shared whisky evening.
