A Swiss Williams pear brandy at 44% ABV, deliberately bottled unfiltered: the fruit is at the center, nothing is smoothed out. The limited bottling comes from the 2022 vintage.

The Etter Söhne AG Distillerie Zug is one of the well-known names for Swiss fruit brandies. For this brandy, highly ripe Williams pears were harvested in three phases, carefully distilled, and matured for 15 months. The reduction to drinking strength takes place without filtration, which keeps the natural aromas very present. With cool storage, slight cloudiness may occur. It is a sign of the lack of filtration.

In the glass, an intense pear bouquet appears; on the palate, ripe Williams fruit is in the foreground; the finish is long and fresh. Recommendation: neat at 15 to 17 °C in a tulip-shaped glass, as a digestif after a meal, or for a social evening. The 0.35-liter bottle is well-suited for tasting.
