Weichselkirsch shows the cherry tension of the sour cherry: fruity, clear, and with a lively contour. The cherries are harvested by hand at the fully ripe stage and carefully fermented before the distillate is aged in the traditional way for years in 50-liter demijohns. Because not every year provides enough outstanding fruit, this cherry brandy is bottled by vintage. In the scent, sour cherry and pit notes; on the palate, harmonious and long.
