The Etter Mirabelle is a classic Swiss fruit brandy: crystal clear, fruity, and strong enough at 41% ABV to cleanly carry the aroma of the fruit.

It is distilled by Etter Söhne in Zug, a distillery known far beyond the region for its fruit brandies. For this brandy, fully ripe mirabelle plums are gently processed and distilled. The fruit is the focus, not the aging.

On the nose, it smells of ripe mirabelle plums, accompanied by a delicate hint of almond. On the palate, it feels round and balanced, with mild fruit sweetness, typical mirabelle plum aromas, and slight almond notes in the finish.

It tastes best neat and slightly chilled from a small tulip glass, perhaps as a digestif after a meal. A small sip also pairs well with almond cookies or a dessert with yellow fruits. The 0.35-liter bottle is well-suited for getting to know it or as a small gift.
