Duas Quintas - Douro Denominação de Origem Controlada 1.5L

Spicy, meaty, and with plenty of cherry fruit: The Duas Quintas from the Douro is a dry red wine with warmth and structure. The magnum bottle (1.5 l) makes it the wine for the big table.

Ramos Pinto is one of the traditional names in the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. Duas Quintas, meaning "two wineries," stands for wines from this slate and terrace landscape, where red wines with substance and spice are created.

In the nose, spicy, meaty notes appear, then balsamic cherry. On the palate, it begins round and velvety, followed by a spicy, structured finish. It carries depth without appearing heavy.

Recommendation: Roast beef, poultry, bean dishes, and vegetarian cuisine go just as well as robustly prepared fish. Serve it at 16 to 18 °C, perhaps for a long evening with friends or family.
