Domaines Ott Rouge AC Bandol 0.75L

Bandol is the most important red wine appellation in Provence — and Domaines Ott has been one of the defining names of this coastal region for generations. The Rouge from Château Romassan showcases what makes Bandol so special: depth, structure, and Mediterranean warmth all in one.

In the glass, it shines with a rich ruby garnet color. The nose is elegant and complex: mentholated herbal spice, a hint of sour cherry and blueberry, with delicate vanilla notes in the background. On the palate, it is dry and firm, with ripe fruit and a long, spicy finish reminiscent of the garrigue-covered slopes above Bandol.

Served well chilled at 16–18 °C , it unfolds its full flavor profile. Classically paired with Provençal braised dishes such as daube de bœuf or leg of lamb with rosemary and garlic. It also goes well with aged goat cheese or a hearty tapenade bread.

Domaines Ott

Domaines Ott is a French winery located in Provence, in the sun-drenched south of the country. It was founded in 1836 by Marcel Ott and is today owned and managed by Jean-François and Christian Ott – for generations, the family has thus remained true to its own ambition of creating wines of exceptional elegance.

The winery consists of three characterful domains: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille, and Château Romassan, which together have a vineyard area of more than 200 hectares. Each of these sites contributes its own terroir – from the barren hills in the interior to the coastal vineyards with a Mediterranean climate. For production, grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah are grown, which in this variety of soils and sites grow into wines with fine structure and typical Provençal freshness.

Since 2004, Domaines Ott has been part of the renowned champagne house Louis Roederer – a connection that further underscores tradition and the highest quality standards. Anyone who tastes the wines of Domaines Ott experiences Provence in its elegant, unmistakable best form.
