Domaines Ott Rosé Clos Mireille AC Côtes de Provence 1.5L

This rosé from the magnum bottle (1.5 l) brings Provence to the table: dry, precise and with a salty contour. It comes from Clos Mireille, the coastal vineyard of Domaines Ott in La Londe, and carries the Côtes de Provence appellation.

Sea breeze, plenty of sun and lime-free, saline soils shape the site. The grapes are produced according to the requirements of the EU organic standard (FR-BIO-01). The product data lists Cinsault as the grape variety. In the glass, it shows a light, sandy shimmering rosé.

On the nose, yellow fruits meet citrus zest, fine herbs and a subtle spice. On the palate, the wine feels silky, with juicy peach fruit, delicate melt and a salty note that carries the long finish.

Serve it at 10 to 12 °C. It pairs with grilled Mediterranean fish, seafood, salade niçoise or goat cheese. The magnum is suitable for a long summer evening in the garden or for larger dinner parties.

The Domaine

Domaines Ott

Domaines Ott is a French winery located in Provence, in the sun-drenched south of the country. It was founded in 1836 by Marcel Ott and is today owned and managed by Jean-François and Christian Ott – for generations, the family has thus remained true to its own ambition of creating wines of exceptional elegance.

The winery consists of three characterful domains: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille, and Château Romassan, which together have a vineyard area of more than 200 hectares. Each of these sites contributes its own terroir – from the barren hills in the interior to the coastal vineyards with a Mediterranean climate. For production, grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah are grown, which in this variety of soils and sites grow into wines with fine structure and typical Provençal freshness.

Since 2004, Domaines Ott has been part of the renowned champagne house Louis Roederer – a connection that further underscores tradition and the highest quality standards. Anyone who tastes the wines of Domaines Ott experiences Provence in its elegant, unmistakable best form.
