The Crème de Framboise from Védrenne is a French raspberry liqueur with 15% ABV from the Burgundy appellation Nuits-St.-Georges. Fruity, fresh, and with clear acidity.

Védrenne relies on few ingredients for its liqueurs: 500 g of fruit per bottle are used together with eau-de-vie and crystal sugar; there are no additives. The raspberry is thus in the foreground unadorned.

On the nose, the liqueur appears fresh and fruity with a distinct raspberry scent. On the palate, a lively acidity carries the sweetness so that the liqueur does not feel heavy. The finish remains beautiful and fruit-forward.

Serve it well-chilled over ice as an uncomplicated companion for a convivial evening. In a long drink or cocktail, it brings raspberry fruit and color into the glass, for example topped up with sparkling wine or tonic. It also goes well over vanilla ice cream or with dark chocolate.
