Chapelle-Chambertin AC Grand Cru 0.75L

Chapelle-Chambertin is one of the nine Grands Crus of Gevrey-Chambertin — a site that stands out even in the dense structure of the Côte de Nuits. Domaine Trapet Père & Fils has been farming its parcels here for generations and works biodynamically: the soils are treated as a living system, not as a production area.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows the typical language of the Chambertin cluster: dark cherry and plum, underlaid by violets and a mineral pull that is reminiscent of damp forest floor and graphite. The palate is medium-weight with silky, well-integrated tannins — no harshness, but clear structure. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with a hint of licorice.

Most expressive with air or after a few years of cellar rest. Drinking temperature 16–17 °C. At the table, it pairs well with game birds, saddle of venison with red cabbage, or a ripe Époisses.
