This award-winning brandy, Carta Real, is a true leader in its field. It deservedly won a gold medal at the WSC in San Francisco in 2014. The brandies used to create it were aged for over 25 years in American white oak barrels that previously held Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry, thus significantly influencing the brandy's flavor. On the nose, Carta Real impresses with rich, characterful notes of aged wood, plums, and sweet raisins, complemented by berries and a subtle hint of caramel cream. The palate is dominated by a velvety yet pronounced fruitiness, balanced by a rich spiciness of vanilla, caramel, berries, and oak. The finish is long and multifaceted.
