An uncomplicated South Frenchman from the Pays d'Oc — Cabernet Sauvignon in its most accessible form: round, soft, and suitable for everyday use.
The Pays d'Oc in the Languedoc is one of France's most productive wine regions. The Mediterranean climate with hot summers and long ripening periods ensures that Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested fully ripe here — without the green tannin sharpness that cooler growing areas sometimes bring. Reserve de la Maison stands for an accessible, drinkable style without long cellar time.
In the glass, blackberry and red plum appear, plus a slight hint of cassis. The tannins are soft and barely noticeable, the acidity moderate — this makes the wine uncomplicated and broadly combinable. No long finish, but a clean, round finish.
- Food: Pasta with tomato sauce or ragù, grilled sausages, pizzas with salami topping

Unbeatable as a liter wine
Nice wine for every day
A nice dry wine for every day, no (for me) noticeable residual sugar, that's how I like wine. I could drink one or two glasses of this every day with dinner. Or also gladly on a warm evening with friends on the terrace.
