Brittany Sea Salt and Olive Oil Crackers 100g

These crackers from Lady Joseph combine two ingredients with clearly defined origins: Sel de Guérande from the Breton salt marshes and extra virgin olive oil. Sel de Guérande is traditionally harvested by hand from the salt flats of the Atlantic coast – a sea salt with a rich minerality and a moist, coarse texture.

On the palate, the crackers offer a delicate, even saltiness without any sharpness, accompanied by a slightly buttery, oily aroma from the olive oil. The texture is crisp, the finish clean. They work equally well as a base for fresh cheese, goat's cheese log, or creamy ricotta, or simply on their own as an aperitif. Serving suggestion: at room temperature , with a dry white wine from the Loire or a light Crémant de Bourgogne.
