Blanc etc.

Blanc etc. is the entry into the Dagueneau universe — a Sauvignon Blanc that bears the signature of the house without the austerity of the great single vineyards.

Domaine Didier Dagueneau is considered a reference address for Sauvignon Blanc in Pouilly-Fumé. Didier Dagueneau, who made the winery a legend, died in 2008 — his son Louis-Benjamin has been running the domaine with the same uncompromising approach ever since. The grapes come from the Loire Valley, one of France's most precise white wine terroirs, known for pebble soils that give the Sauvignon Blanc its characteristic minerality.

In the glass, a clear citrus line appears — grapefruit, lime, a hint of white peach. Added to this are floral notes that keep the wine light and accessible without losing depth. The texture is taut, the acidity lively, the finish salty-mineral.

Best served at 8–10 °C. Pairs with goat cheese from the Loire, grilled sea bass with herbs or oysters. An uncomplicated entry into one of the most consistent estates in the valley.
