Bellevoye Bleu 40% vol Triple Malt Whisky from France 0.7L

Bellevoye Bleu is a triple malt from France: a blend of selected French single malts that remains pleasantly accessible at 40% vol.

Behind the brand is Les Bienheureux. The single malts first mature for three to eight years in French oak barrels in their respective distilleries. After blending, a second maturation follows for nine to twelve months in new, specially toasted French oak barrels stored in cellars near Cognac.

On the nose, grain and sweet spices meet honey and white flowers. On the palate, it is round and balanced, with yellow fruits, cooked apple, and gingerbread. The finish remains long and fresh.

Recommendation: neat or with an ice cube on a quiet evening, also nice after a meal. The gingerbread and apple notes go well with almond cookies or a mild hard cheese.
