Baron Salvadori Chardonnay Riserva

Baron Salvadori Chardonnay Riserva is a characterful white wine that combines Italy's aging tradition with the elegance of the Chardonnay grape variety. In the barrique-aged "Riserva" version, the wine displays a distinct structure, depth, and a striking yet balanced character.

In the glass, it shines a bright, golden yellow with green reflections and exudes an aromatic palette of ripe apricots, ripe apple, vanilla oak notes, and delicate toasty or biscuit aromas . On the palate, it is creamy and dense, with juicy fruit, an expressive yet harmonious oak component, and a lively, well-structured acidity that ensures balance and longevity. The finish is long, warm, and characterized by a spicy, slightly buttery note that blends beautifully with the ripe fruit.

The Chardonnay Riserva pairs particularly well with robust dishes such as grilled fish, lobster, pasta with cream sauce, baked chicken, or cheeses with a textured component. Served at around 12–14 °C , it develops in the glass, revealing the full depth of its barrel-aged character. A wine for those who appreciate a mature, well-structured Chardonnay with substance and personality.
