Andeluna Raices Chardonnay WO Mendoza

A fresh, dry Chardonnay from Mendoza that does without wood and focuses on the fruit of the grape variety. The Raíces Chardonnay from Andeluna Cellars is the estate's uncomplicated entry-level line: clearly defined, juicy, and easy to combine.

The vines grow at an altitude of around 700 meters in Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes. There, warm days and cool nights ensure ripe fruit while maintaining freshness. Aging takes place in stainless steel, without wood contact. This keeps the varietal character unadulterated.

In the glass, it shows a light, pale greenish-yellow, clear and brilliant. In the nose, peach, pineapple, and pear meet green apple fruit and a fine floral note. On the palate, the wine is dry and straightforward, with balanced acidity and a citrus contour. The finish is long.

Recommendation: serve well chilled at 8 to 10 °C. It goes well with grilled fish, ceviche, chicken with lemon, or a salad with fresh goat cheese. It also works well solo as an aperitif.
