The Canonita Aperitivo from Antonio Nadal is a Spanish aperitif wine with 18% ABV — stronger than a classic still wine, but lighter than a full-fledged vermouth. It is designed for the moment before a meal: fresh, aromatic, with enough structure to stimulate the appetite.

Antonio Nadal S.A. is an established house in Mallorca with a long tradition in the production of aperitif and liqueur wines. The island provides ideal conditions for this: intense sun, Mediterranean herbs, and a winemaking tradition that dates back to the 19th century.

In the glass, the Canonita shows a golden color with amber reflections. On the nose, orange peel, dried herbs, and a hint of bitter almond appear. On the palate, it is sweet-tart with an invigorating bitter note on the finish — typical for a well-made aperitivo style.

Best served well chilled at 8–10 °C, neat over ice or with a splash of soda and a slice of orange. Pairs well with olives, jamón, Manchego, or small tapas — an uncomplicated entry into a Mediterranean evening.
