The largest share of the total wine production in the Limestone Coast goes towards the production of quality wines. The wine region is divided into several areas: Mount Benson, Coonawarra, Mount Gambier, Robe, Padthaway, and Wrattonbully. Although Coonawarra was discovered very late, it is now considered the most famous wine-growing region in Australia.
