Latricières-Chambertin AC Grand Cru 0.75L

Latricières-Chambertin is one of the great sites of the Côte de Nuits — southern neighbor of the Chambertin itself, with a somewhat lighter but no less complex character. Domaine Trapet Père & Fils has been managing its parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin biodynamically for generations and is one of the most reliable addresses for authentic Burgundy Pinot Noir.

In the glass, the typical profile of the site shows: aromas of sour cherry and wild strawberry, underpinned by violets, damp forest floor, and a hint of tobacco. The palate is medium-weight with silky tannin structure and a lively acidity that carries the finish long and mineral — a feature of the iron-rich limestone soils in Latricières.

Depending on the vintage, with further development in the cellar. Serving temperature 16–17 °C. At the table, the wine pairs with game poultry, venison loin with mushrooms, or a ripe Époisses — classic Burgundy pairings that do not cover the depth of the Grand Cru, but reflect it.
