A red wine from Provence that shows the region can do more than just Rosé: dark-fruited, spicy, with a real backbone.

Domaine des Féraud is located in the heart of the Côtes de Provence, one of France's oldest wine regions. The area around Vidauban is characterized by limestone and clay soils, a Mediterranean climate, and a long tradition of red winemaking — even if Rosé gets most of the attention here.

On the nose, the Grande Cuvée Rouge opens with blackberry, black cherry, and a distinct hint of dried herbs — thyme, bay leaf — as they characterize the garrigue of Provence. Added to this are notes of vanilla and cedarwood from aging in oak. On the palate, full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a ripe fruit depth supported by fresh spice. The finish is long and balsamic.
