Domaine Michel Thomas Sancerre Rosé

A Sancerre Rosé made from Pinot Noir — this is Loire classicism in a delicate salmon pink. Domaine Michel Thomas et Fils cultivates its vineyards in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, where the chalky-marly soils give the Pinot Noir that characteristic freshness and minerality that has made the region famous.

The glass shows a luminous salmon pink. The nose opens with raspberry and a hint of wild strawberry, underpinned by a discreet spicy note. Dry and taut on the palate, with lively acidity and a juicy, clearly fruity finish — typical of the Loire style, which prioritizes elegance over fullness.

Served at 8–10 °C, it accompanies local goat cheese (Crottin de Chavignol is a perfect match), summery salads with herbs, light pasta dishes, or grilled salmon. It also cuts a fine figure as an aperitif on warm evenings.
