Côtes du Rhône AOC
A classic Côtes du Rhône that shows what Grenache can do in the southern Rhône Valley: ripe red fruit, warmth and a pleasantly approachable character without any rough edges.
The Côtes du Rhône wine region stretches along the Rhône Valley and is one of the most important appellations in southern France. Grenache is the dominant grape variety here—it thrives particularly well on the stony, heat-retaining soils and produces wines with natural richness and aromatic ripeness.
On the nose, a dense bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, and blackcurrant unfolds, underpinned by bay leaf and white pepper. On the palate, the wine presents itself as well-balanced: harmoniously integrated tannins, a medium body, and a dry finish with a touch of spice.
Best served at 16–18 °C . Goes well with grilled lamb, Provençal braised beef, mature goat cheese or a platter with chorizo and olives — an uncomplicated accompaniment for a romantic evening or the next barbecue.
