Corralillo Syrah - Organic
A Syrah from Chile that makes no compromises: dark fruit, spice and a structure that is still present even after the last sip.
The Corralillo Syrah comes from the Maipo or Colchagua Valleys—Chilean vineyards that provide Syrah with plenty of sunshine and well-drained soils. The organic certification signifies the absence of synthetic pesticides; in the glass, this is reflected in a clear, varietal-typical aroma. Eighteen months of aging in barriques give the wine its well-rounded character without masking the grape variety.
The nose is dominated by red cherry, blackberry, and the classic Syrah profile: violets, black pepper, and a hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, it reveals a full body with firm yet balanced tannins—not a harsh young wine, but a smooth red with a long, juicy finish.
Best served at 16–18 °C . Pairs well with grilled lamb loin, beef entrecôte with chimichurri, or a spicy lentil ragout. If desired, open the bottle an hour beforehand—this noticeably releases the aromas.
