On the nose, dense notes of dark cherries, dried wild berries, and delicate roasted aromas, accompanied by nuances of leather and tobacco; on the palate, powerful and complex with silky tannins, subtle spice, and superb structure; the finish is long and elegant with hints of dark chocolate, balsamic notes, and mineral depth. Tenuta di Vìgnole is located in Chianti Classico, not far from Panzano. The Pesa River flows through the valley, and the estate's 14 hectares of vineyards stretch across two slopes above it. Nearby are Castello di Rampolla, La Massa, Fontodi, and other renowned estates. Vìgnole focuses on quality. The vineyards are planted very densely, with 5,000 vines per hectare. This results in an extremely low yield per vine and exceptional quality. The manor house dates back to the 16th century. The surrounding buildings house the various stages of winemaking. The cellar for aging and storing the wines is built underground into the hillside. There, the wines mature in large casks, barriques, and bottles until they reach their ideal maturity for release. Vìgnole is a gem, and its Chianti Classico is a wine in the finest Chianti tradition.
