Bailoni Original apricot schnapps

The Bailoni family business has been distilling its famous Wachau Gold apricot brandy since 1872, which now carries a protected designation of origin. The distillery is located in Krems-Stein, directly on the Danube. In the 1930s, Bailoni specialized in the production of Wachau Gold apricot liqueur and eau-de-vie, and has since built a unique and distinctive product line. The overripe, pitted apricots are mashed, fermented with yeast, and gently triple-distilled. After a maturation period of at least two years, the apricot distillate content reaches 60%, which is almost 100% higher than the regulations.
