Anderson Pinot Noir Anderson Valley - California 0.75L

A Californian Pinot Noir that shows why the Anderson Valley is one of the most interesting cool-climate locations on the West Coast: little sun, lots of morning fog from the Pacific, long ripening time – the opposite of typical warm Napa.

Domaine Anderson cultivates its parcels in Mendocino County organically and biodynamically. The Anderson Valley lies approximately 15 kilometers from the coast and benefits from cool nights that bring freshness and structure to the grapes – conditions under which Pinot Noir finds its most elegant form.

In the glass, it displays a medium-deep ruby color. The nose offers aromas of sour cherry, raspberry, and dried herbs, underpinned by a hint of earth and red pepper. The palate is lean and lively, the tannins silky, the acidity crisp and invigorating – not a heavyweight, but a wine with a Burgundian character. The finish is medium-long, spicy, with a light floral note.

Best served at 14–16 °C . Pairs well with salmon fillet with herb butter, grilled duck breast, mushroom risotto, or a mature goat cheese. Also a great accompaniment to a quiet evening without any major cooking commitments.
