Roccato Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 0.75L

A Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignon with the weight and structure one would expect from a classic Super Tuscan — deep ruby ​​red in the glass, dark fruit, long finish.

Rocca delle Macìe is one of the most renowned names in the Chianti Classico region. Founded in 1973 by Italo Zingarelli, the winery is now in its second generation of family ownership. The winery is located in Castellina in Chianti, one of the historic centers of the Tuscan wine region. Roccato is their flagship project outside the Sangiovese tradition—a single-varietal Cabernet Sauvignon produced under the Tuscan IGT designation.

In the glass, it displays aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and cedar, underpinned by a hint of tobacco and earth. The tannins are present but integrated; the acidity gives the wine structure without harshness. The finish is long and spicy.

Best served at 16–18 °C . Pairs well with braised beef, leg of lamb with rosemary, or mature Pecorino cheese. If opened now, decant at least one hour before drinking.
