Red Moon Sparkling

Red grape juice? No — Red Moon Sparkling's deep red shimmer comes from a red-fleshed apple variety from South Tyrol, virtually unknown outside the region. No alcohol, no additives, just the juice of this old variety, lightly carbonated with 0.4% CO₂.

FRUUP GmbH uses an apple variety with naturally red flesh—a relic of South Tyrolean fruit-growing history. The juice is bottled directly, without concentrates, flavorings, or added sugar.

In the glass, it displays a vibrant red color. Aromas of raspberry, pomegranate, and red currant emerge, underpinned by a fresh, slightly tart malic acidity. The carbonation is finely balanced—crisp, but not overpowering. The finish is dry and fruity, with no residual sweetness.

  • Temperature: well chilled, 6–8 °C
  • Occasion: Aperitif, barbecue, brunch or as a non-alcoholic option at the table
  • Goes well with: fresh goat cheese, arugula salad, summer desserts with red berries

FRUUP

Red Moon 99.6 Sparkling is an aperitif that thinks differently – and tastes different. Behind this extraordinary drink lies an equally extraordinary ingredient: red-fleshed apples of the RS-1 and RM-1 varieties, grown on Italian orchards and gently cold-pressed.

The result: a deep red, sparkling soft drink – 100% natural, alcohol-free , and full of valuable ingredients such as anthocyanins, polyphenols, and vitamin C. The vibrant color comes entirely without additives, simply from the red flesh of the apples.
In terms of taste, you can expect a fresh balance of sweetness and a slightly sour note – a delight on its own over ice, a discovery as a base for cocktails.
