The BLACK BOX SPRING by Lakrids by Bülow is a seasonal collection of chocolate-covered licorice – produced in the Danish manufactory, which has been known for handcrafted premium licorice since 2007.
At its core: soft, aromatic licorice, encased in crisp caramel chocolate with lime crackle. As you chew, the shell breaks open, releasing a slightly tingling, tangy-fresh note – a contrast to the sweet caramel flavor and the spicy licorice center.
A perfect gift for spring or to accompany a cheese board with mild goat's cheese. A slightly sweet Riesling Kabinett or a semi-dry Crémant rosé pairs well with it.

Johan Bülow comes from a family of entrepreneurs and was always certain that he wanted to create something truly special. He dedicated his passion and all his energy to licorice, a popular Scandinavian sweet that he believed deserved more attention. He invested a great deal of time, learned the craft from the ground up, and in 2007 was able to cook, roll, and cut his very first product.
