Quick answers

Which wines are best suited for warm summer evenings?

Light, cool white wines and fresh rosé wines lead the pack — but a full-bodied red wine from the cellar can also be convincing on mild evenings if served at 16–18 °C. The decisive factor is not so much the color as the freshness in the finish.

How does the discount in the Summer Sale work?

With a shopping cart value of €100 or more on products from the Summer Sale Collection, you automatically receive a 20% discount — no code necessary. The promotion runs until June 28, 2026, and applies exclusively to the marked wines in this selection.

Which wines go well with grilling?

For grilled meat, a structured red wine with good acidity and tannin holds its own — such as a Cabernet Sauvignon or a powerful Pinot Noir. For fish and vegetables from the grill, it is better to reach for a dry white wine with lively acidity.

What distinguishes a summer wine from a wine for aging?

Summer wines are characterized by freshness, lower alcohol, and clear fruit — they are designed for immediate enjoyment, not for years of cellar aging. Wines for aging, on the other hand, need time to develop their complexity and can quickly seem too heavy on the terrace.

Are there also spirits and gourmet food in the Summer Sale?

Yes — in addition to wines, the selection also includes spirits and selected gourmet products. All discounted items are bundled in this collection, so you can see directly what is part of the promotion.

How do I recognize if a wine is really suitable for the summer?

Look for alcohol under 13.5%, lively acidity, and no excessive oak influence — these are the most reliable signs of a wine that works well chilled and uncomplicated. A look at the food recommendation helps: If it says salad, seafood, or light poultry, it usually fits the summer as well.
