Mathieu Teisseire Triple Sec Syrup
Triple Sec as a syrup — without alcohol, but with the aroma profile of the classic. Mathieu Teisseire , one of France's oldest syrup producers, uses dried orange peels as a base, precisely capturing the bittersweet citrus character of the original liqueur.
Fresh orange in the glass, a hint of bitter orange, a subtle citrus note on the finish. The sweetness is well-balanced – the syrup isn't overpowering and is easy to control.
As an alcohol-free substitute for triple sec, it works surprisingly well in Margaritas, Cosmopolitans, or Sidecars, coming remarkably close to the original. Those wishing to reduce the alcohol content can simply substitute some of the liqueur. Furthermore, it's delicious in homemade lemonades, iced tea, or as a topping for vanilla ice cream.
